On Friday, 11 May 2018, a traditional science picnic entitled “Ecology of the Spring” was held in the Nencki Institute Research Station in Mikołajki, which we have been organizing for three years with the Masurian Landscape Park together . This year, about 150 young people from Ukta, Ryn, Woźnice and Mikołajki visited us. There were lectures, classes on the water, 3D microscope workshops etc. Young participants collected biological samples, measured water parameters, learned to recognize species of water invertebrates etc. At noon, in the Conference Room the awards ceremony was given to the winners of the art contest “Underwater residents of Masurian Lakes” (TJ)
