PhD; specialist in crustacean ecology; from the begining of his scientific work associated with the Institute of Ecology, Polish Academy of Sciences, initially as an employee of the Department of Hydrobiology, and since 1985 at the Hydrobiological Station in Mikolajki; great illustrator, author of the famous cartoon figure Ekoludek and many illustrations for books as well as drawing jokes about biology.
